How do I rent a car on Drive lah?

Drive lah is a peer to peer car sharing community. This means when you rent a car on Drive lah, you are requesting to rent a car from an individual car owner.

As we are a sharing community built on trust, we ask all our members to complete their profile before making a booking request. This way the host knows a little bit about you when they confirm your booking request.

Steps to access nearby cars easily

Search for cars near you

Browse through a huge variety of cars nearby. When searching for a car, make sure to include your preferred dates, price, features etc. to get the most accurate fit. Do you still have a question? You can always send a direct message to the host.

Make a booking request

When booking for the first time, you will be asked to share your details such as driving license, NRIC/ FIN. This will be done only once. You will be notified on the outcome of your booking request within a few hours.

Pick up the car and drive

Make sure you always bring your driving license & a EZ Link card (or a Cashcard, Nets Flash Pay, Ezlink or any enabled Credit Cards with sufficient value) with you to the agreed pick up point. Enjoy your trip

Comprehensive insurance for all Drive lah trips

In the unlikely case of an accident/damage, the vehicle is comprehensively insured via our insurance. If the car's age is 12 years or more, then third party only insurance is provided. The insurance starts automatically when you pick up the car and is valid till the time you return it.
